Return to old values.

2011 and are new Government are actually giving us "a return to the old values" that they promised so many times!

Unfortunately the old values they have selected are from the middle ages where all the laws benefited the privileged few.

Now you could accuse me of being melodramatic and bias against the current government.  This as I have stated previously is not true I hate all politicians equally: after all anyone who goes into politics does it with a hidden agenda, which is generally what can they get out of it.

Lets look at what makes a politician.  These are people who claim to represent the community. And indeed there is plenty of photographic evidence to prove this.  Well I say that. In reality they like to be seen doing good but rarely do they actually have any impact on any thing that matters. This is generally because to be a politician you need to have an ego that you would need a parachute to come down off.  More often than not politicians have no discernible talent but crave fame, money and power.

Now their argument is "we elected them!" Wrong! We can only elect the people put forward by the parties.  The parties put forward their candidates and the parties are generally run by the privileged and so the put forward the privileged that's why in 2005 less than 7% of our MP's were from working class backgrounds (labour field less than 10% in their party).  In the same year 12% of our MP's were professional politicians.

So we have the elite picking the elite and claiming they are listening to everyone.  Firstly it's nice to see they are sticking to an old tradition and keeping it a live by using the old boys network (which due to equality allows "Old Gals").  And I am sure that there is no financial benefit for any of these people, I'm sure they all pay their dues and never avoid tax and I won't allow anyone to alleged this.

When David Criminal said this he meant of course "we are in fact all in England".  Of course he is not suffering in the same way we are but he has been told that is he makes a statement like this we will believe him.  It just shows that the actually believe that you require money to be intelligent.  Which just demonstrates the depth of his own stupidity.

Cameron has just had to replace his Press Officer because the the last one left because he wasn't guilty of tapping peoples phones.  I understand that he is so far detached from real people (the poor), that he needs how to address them.  I recently sent him a few recommendation for choosing his new advisor.
They went something like this:-

1. Don't pick anyone who wears a Seville Row suit they no nothing about the poor.
2. Don't pick anyone from the south, they know nothing about being poor.
3. Don't pick anyone you like, they know nothing about the poor.
4. Instead of giving one posh bloke a load of money why not employ half a dozen poor people from all over the country. They would work for less, be grateful for a job and they know about poor people.

Guess what ? He didn't bother listening to me after all I am one of the poor people what do I know!

So a return to the middle ages where the poor are over taxed made to work for nothing whilst the Big Fat Barons live with impunity and get richer and richer.  If you can't see the similarity then you live in Scotland or are one of the above mention Big Fat Barons. 

I will live for the rest of my life everyday I will suffer uncontrollable pain but that doesn't match the pain in my heart of what is happening to the country I used to love.
We could organise a peasants revolt and all march on Parliament.  Unfortunately we won't because England has lost it's way and the battery on my wheelchair will only get me as far as Dewsbury (it's down hill).  So one sad little cripple stuck in Dewsbury with a flat battery is an apt metaphor for the state of Politics.  No one can change it the Old Boys will see to that (Oh and Gals for the sake of equality ((Ha bloody Ha))).

Merry Christmas

I didn't get back to say what ruined my day last blog, all I will say DWP and the ignorance of one of their Staff. So in brief:

• Am I still disabled or has my incurable condition gone away?
• What job can I do (even though I injure myself reading)?
• Do I use a wheelchair because their are two people in her office in wheelchairs?

You can't begin to imagine how offensive that is.  Then to be told that they would call me back on a regular basis to see if I had got better and could now work.  My condition means that I can only get worse and it is a full time job just managing it to keep my injuries down.  The absolute worse thing ever is I love work and like physical activity; indeed I used to use do some thing physical to relieve stress (not that, it's causes injury so I can only do it before I go to the physio).  Anyway I have no way of relieving stress now that's why I blog: even though it hurts my hands and neck I use it to reduce stress.

There I hope that covers that !

Get 3 photos of said child ready to upload (some at special events of past year, Birthday, etc), ten follow the instructions and your child will receive a video message from Santa.  My daughters face as she nodded at everything Santa said and when he said she knew she wanted a Hamster even though we had told her she couldn't have one (obviously we were getting her one, I don't want you thinking that this was a militant Santa); her face when Santa said that will carry me through my next few months of pain and remind me why no matter what my condition bring I have reasons to live.  Anyway you can do these for naughty or nice and for all ages so the adults don't have to miss out.

In Cleckheaton, Santa was caught on a test run.



Once again Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to one and all (with the obvious exceptions; you've read my blog!).  Good will to most men.

I won't be posting for a while as I can't generate new material at the moment and I'm sure you understand that this takes a lot out of me.  

A Good Mood Spoilt

Now I may sound like I a grumpy old fart (which of course I am) but I do have happy days.  On December 1st was such a day if not a whole week.  My wife and children had decided they wanted the Christmas tree up and although the l had to leave all the lifting for my Son still had a role to play in putting the tree together and sorting lights.  Now before you decided to worship  me I did not create a tree it is the same artificial tree we have used for 14 years.

Sorry I digress.

Even though I only took a small part in this activity I was left in bed for 2 days in a lot of pain I didn't mind.  I didn't mind because even though it was a small amount of activity for such a lot of pain I had something to show for it: unlike when I injure myself putting my socks on and only have a pair of socks need to get someone else to remove.  I was very happy and content that I would be soon celebrating Christmas with my family around me and no amount of pain can spoil that.

So What Did? I will complete this post in a day or so when my body allows or sooner if anyone leaves a comment asking me to. that won't happen as I think there is only me reading it and I won't leave comments for myself that would be sad!

Quick Power Blog

I pay my fuel bills to one company as I have a duel fuel account.  Last year after a bad winter they tried to increase my payment by £10 a month.  I of course pointed out that you can not measure my usage on a freak winter and insisted they return the payments to the original amount.  They did this and apologised.  Last week I received a letter telling my I had over paid my account and so they were sending me £80 back and they were going to increase my payments by £10.  I pointed out that if they were sending me money back I was already over paying so there is no requirement to increase my payments. 

I think I have located the problem we have confused intelligence with education.  You see in our country we give jobs to people with a degree or if they attended an elite school.  Now in the old days people had to achieve a degree but now you can get them for turning up once in a while.  There are still intelligent people who have worked hard to get a degree and these people under the old system who have been easy to spot so you could get the right people.  These days every body has a degree and think that makes them intelligent and those people are now in places of power so they perpetuate the myth.  If our country is ever to get out of the mess it is in we first must admit we have let some real morons in positions that they are a liability.

To correct this mess remember posh people are more often than not "THICK".  A degree does not show intelligence anymore.  And it is possible that someone that has no formal education is capable of intelligence and more often than not you will be amazed that they may even be a genius amongst them.

Employer get us out of the shit we're in.  Take experience over education, if you must employ candidates with degrees make sure that it is relevant to your business not having a degree should be enough.  If you get a posh person turning up for a job find out what the relationship of their Mother and Father were before they married: in breeding is a good indicator of stupidity!

What do I know about this?

I improved every job I had and save more money because I used common sense.  I watched a man who get a job managing a line in a pet food factory because he had a degree in "Marine Biology".  That good if he had experience in manufacturing.  He had non but he did have the ability to talk to dolphins.  Funny though there was a guy would had worked on this line for 20 years and had in that time put several efficiency and money saving improvements.  He put in for the job and was turned down because it was the companies policy only to put graduates in management positions.  That company is down sizing it's operation.  Would it be down sizing with some people with intelligence in the management positions.

So what has this to do with my bill.  I worked for an energy company that believed in promoting from the shop floor and was the top of all the league tables.  That company was taken over by a national company which was bottom of the league table and used graduates to fill management positions.  Now which model do you think they chose to work to?  Yes the self destructive education before experience.  Now all my former work mates have the knowledge that they are bottom of all league tables. 

I get my power from them because my pension is tied to them!

It's Not All Bad

Winter is all but here and the Goose is getting fat and by the Goose I mean me!  My dilemma is this, my Hyper- Mobility Syndrome(HMS) requires that I stretch and exercise to reduce the effects of the HMS.  Physical exercise or work even gentle movement can cause injury because of my HMS.  I can injure myself reading a book.  I will injure myself writing this and yet I still do.  Now before I became disabled I was very fit and very active.  I already know is I do nothing and do gentle stretches I can reduce my pain and prevent injury.  If I take that approach I will go mad, as no one can live like that and the quality of that life would be depressing.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

The answer is quite simple; you exercise in a way that the positives out weigh the negatives.  Light House Work!  Yes it will cause injury and yes your pain levels will be increased.

SO WHY DO IT?

The answer is very easy.  Exercise is required to keep me Hyper-Mobile which is important to combat the damage already done by this condition.  I do house work as it gives me exercise and yes it causes my pain levels to go through the roof (especially in Winter) but as I lay down to take control of my pain I can see something that I have done.  I got this tip from talking to other people with disabilities.

Now it takes me all day and sometimes the next just to do one room: but that is one less room for my wife to do and so I still feel as though I am contributing to the family unit.

House work will help you fight depression and stress of dealing with the Morons that run the DWP.  In the old days I would go for a run if I was stress or swim, play golf, go to Karate or even go for a bike ride or just  walk.  I miss walking!  When I feel down I get down on my hands and knees (you can't fall off the floor), and clean the living room rug.  Now don't get me wrong house work is not easy, I can't work a mop but you find light weight tools that help.  If you want to impress your wife or carer try cleaning the oven, you don't have to do it all in one day but it is the best stress buster because of the reaction of the a fore mentioned.

Tools you might like;

light weight Vacuum,  Steam mop or hand Steamer,  Floor Duster (if you have wood or laminate)

These tools can be used in a wheelchair, I know because I have done it.

I have noticed that all my pictures seem to be political and I did think I might branch out to the Media but I can't lower myself to watch "I'm a Celebrity".  I do think Trading Standards should be involved as I have never heard of any of the people they claim are famous.  Although I did see the "Shit Jugglers" faint; it was amazingly bad.  She obviously studied at the Dean Gaffney school of acting after all that was the most wooden think in the forest.

Death of Ethics

Recently I have been forced to remove various headless pictures of the PM from my blog because my family thought them to be extreme.  I won't apologise for my sense of humour and who I direct it at.  I do like making pictures I find funny but if these are extreme it as a result of the British Governments persecution of people with disabilities well so be it.  I keep telling people that Disability is now treated like a crime (only criminals have more rights) although my MP tells me I am wrong: well he should know more than me after all he has a big fat pay packet a cushy number with staff I'm sure that fact I am on the receiving end of the countries care means FA.  The government do use weapons against people with disabilities, they're called bureaucrats (or more accurately bureaucraps).  These people are allowed to persecute us and tell us how we show live our lives.  They are treated as experts even though most of them are not and never have been disabled but they work for the Government so they have more rights (with expenses).

If I have extreme views it is because I worked hard and served my country and as a result I now have a disability that means I have to fight every day of the rest of my life for the basics. 

Now the Politicians will always tell you there is help out there for you: BOLLOCKS.  The help if ever there, is far and few and nearly always conditional.  If you try to fight the system you will find that the systems set up to to protect people are inaccessible and even if you do try use them you will always end up at the start it does pay to complain.

I have no political leanings: I hate all politicians equally for the stress I have to suffer on top of that from my disability.  All I want is to be able to live a life with reduced pain and less stress.  And before you think I'm just another whinging benefit cheat; I do not take all my benefits just enough to live on.  I am disabled because I worked hard often holding more than one job at once and having had two military careers both of which contributed to my disability.

Am I bitter?

No I am frustrated at the fact I have to BEG for the help I paid into all my life. I am angry that poluticians that claim to be accessible ignore people like me who point out the truth of living in this country in favour of people who say what they want to hear. Ostriches do not stick their heads in the sand but the UK's poluticians do.

If you have any balls MR PM then answer the letters I have sent in stead of passing them down to a civil servant in charge of the toilet paper at the arse end of the country.

Monty Python once referred to "Yorkshire the 3rd World" I put it you you England has a 3rd world population and everyone of them has a disability.  Well done you ethic less members of the system and that is most if not all of you in positions of power (not the poor sods on the work face who often get in the neck from us because their management are moronic yes men!).

If you want to correct the problems of the system and since you won't talk to anyone on the receiving end try taking to your bottom tear work face workers and allow them to tell you how stupid your policies have become.

Mr Cameron I start this rant because my brother asked me to take a picture of you with your throat cut titled "one cut no one would mind", I won't apologise for that because you are making the same  mistakes of the previous Government. 

And just a little point saying "we are all in this together" does not mean you are. If you want to make some cuts try cutting MP's wages in half and you as a millionaire don't need the money so give your wage to the NHS.  Politics is mean to be a vocation not a career it is the greed of MP's and Bankers that has ruined this country.

Remembrance in Cleckheaton!

Until now I have only shown my militant evil side but I do have things that I take seriously.  Things like the way we treat Disability and Old People.  It was pointed out to me I have been hard on the currant PM but I do not have political preferences at all I have all MP's equally.  It is not my job to believe in any politician; it is their duty to make me believe in them.  I can say that to date most have failed and I can honestly say that I like them as much as I like Bankers (-B+W).

Anyway the point of this blog is about a promise that was made that on the 11th hour of the 2nd Sunday of every November "We Will Remember".  I am an ex soldier and served in the regular Army and the TA.  In Cleckheaton 5 years ago as my disability took hold I attended the memorial in Cleckheaton at the appointed time to find there were 3 of us.  I was told that Cleckheaton holds it's parade at 2pm; I question the people that ran the parade and ask "Why?", to be told we've done it this way for 50 years.  I started to campaign to correct this and tried to point why to called a nutter (and fellows of the Legion in Spen if writing remarks like that to each other it is better to not forward it as often the person you were talking about receives it).  Just because somebody does something one way different from the rest of the country does not make it right after all thirty years ago we stop using paper carrier bags in favour of plastic , see how well that turned out.

In the rest of this blog I will give a brief history and remind people the true meaning of Remembrance and the point of it in the modern World.  Though at this moment I must rest so I will have to continue tomorrow.

I was going to give a brief history however due to physio and the actual day it's self I am recovering and will be for a few days.  I did however conduct a parade for about 50 people who turned up assuming that like everywhere else in the country there would be a parade at 11am.  The people who came were grateful that there was someone there and we had a very respectful parade with the last post played and the peom "for the fallen".  I had also made a wreath (well large poppy) that people could place their own poppies in so we had something to lay.  Last year I made it weath shaped and drilled 30 holes in it for people to place poppies in, although 30 people attended only about 18 put poppies in.  This year I changed the design so that if only one person put a poppy in it would still look good and so only drilled 18 holes.  I was wrong again 50 people turned up and at least 30 people put poppies in, we had to put 2 or 3 poppies to each hole.  I have put a picture of my finished design below.

I will say I attend remembrance day in memory of Dave Goodall murdered delivering aid to Bosnia in 1994. I knew him when I first joined the Royal Engineers, he was a Corperal on a PTI course and I was a new recruit. After he left the Army like me joined the TA at Bradford which he was still a serving member of.  Although he died in a war zone he was in his civilian role, therefore his name is not on any War Memorial and he is not remember by many people.

Next time you attend Remebrance Day remember that nobody wins a War there is only lose.  Soldiers die on both sides and so do civilians and the job of this parade is to say on behalf of all serving forces "we will fight your wars without question but remember the cost will be high, look to our past!"
